Chief Minister comments in Youth in Politics programme
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says government has to improve it's connection with young people on the Island.
Howard Quayle was reacting to figures which showed that 66% of sixth formers didn't know who the Chief Minister of the Island was - albeit 95% knew Donald Trump was President of the United States.
Mr Quayle said he's always happy to speak to students to try and engage them more in local politics . . but he can't force them to listen:
Mr Quayle made the comments in William King's special investigation into young people and politics, broadcast on Sunday and available to listen again via the Manx Radio website.
