Education minister appeals for help from students and parents
The education minister has admitted government needs to 'get a lid' on rising absences within Island schools.
Winter illnesses and Covid-19 are creating problems particularly at Ballakermeen and QEII high schools.
So far this term 358 positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded within educational settings.
