Due to interest in Enterprise Development Fund
Chief Minister Howard Quayle has called on government to overhaul the Island's planning system, in order to stimulate business growth.
He was speaking on the back of figures which revealed over 100 applications have been made to government's Enterprise Development Fund - many from off-Island - since its inception in 2015.
A review of the planning system last year called on Tynwald to 'de-politicise' the process.
Mr Quayle believes a simpler, fairer system would benefit the economy:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
Too early for 'direct action' over cost-of-living concerns says chief minister
