ManxNFU president calls for election candidates to prioritise food security
The president of the Manx National Farmers Union is calling for those seeking election next month to put food security near if not at the top of their list of priorities.
The organisation has published its own manifesto for the House of Keys General Election, calling for candidates to do more to support the farming industry.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has confirmed it will be reviewing food security policies over the summer ahead of the new administration coming in.
