Over 100 buy into cycle scheme
More than 100 government employees bought a bicycle through a grant scheme which was introduced in the last financial year.
The figure of 101 people was revealed by the Cabinet Office, following a Tynwald question for written reply by Onchan MHK Julie Edge.
The 'Cycle to Work Scheme' was announced in last year's Manx Budget, in an effort to get people to ditch their cars and commute under their own power instead.
