It's to help people understand the process
Events will be held around the Island to give the public information about the Mooir Vannin offshore windfarm application.
Organised by the Cabinet Office as part of the ongoing government consultation, the aim is to help people understand how they have their say and explain the next part of the process.
Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the sessions which will all run from 4pm to 7pm:
- 30 September - City Hall, Ridgeway Street, Douglas
- 1 October - Town Hall, Farrants Way, Castletown
- 2 October - Town Hall, Parliament Square, Ramsey
- 3 October - House of Manannan, Mill Road, Peel
Anyone with an interest in the proposal can express their views before the consultation closes on 18 November.
The drop-in events are intended to help residents and stakeholders to understand how to have their say and will explain what happens next in the examination process, after the public consultation.
Visit the government's website to read the application, see the MIMA application process, register as an interested party, and for details on how to have your say.
You can contact the Cabinet Office at MIMA.Applications@gov.im with questions about the consultation.
Any specific questions about the application itself should be sent to Mooir Vannin Offshore Wind Farm Limited.
