Could more be done to help private businesses better offering?
A businessman who transformed a 300-year-old building into tourist accommodation says he believes government could be doing more to help people improve facilities for visitors.
Jim Kearns revamped the Silverdale Corn Mill into a self-catering property called Trail Lodge just before the Covid-19 pandemic.
He told Manx Radio whilst he found government helpful he believes support could go further.
The Department for Enterprise has been invited to respond.
Last week Visit Isle of Man launched a new marketing campaign – Extraordinary Isle – aimed at promoting the Island as a quality, year-round visitor destination.
It's part of efforts to increase the number of tourists to 500,000 by 2032.
