Onchan MHK's motion accepted by Keys members to further debate topic next week
The government has been accused of trying to 'railroad' changes to the state pension through Tynwald.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge brought the topic to the House of Keys this week; seeking to open the channels for further discussions.
Her motion was supported by her fellow members, meaning the topic will be discussed in more detail as part of next week's Budget debate.
Ms Edge told Manx Radio a Treasury briefing, delivered to members, demonstrated that much more consultation was needed:
