Nine staff to lose jobs
Nine people are to lose their jobs at the Mount Murray golf club.
Staff were personally informed this morning (Friday).
The catering and function side of business will close on Sunday evening and those with advanced bookings are being contacted and offered full refunds.
Mount Murray management say demand for functions has suffered since the hotel fire in November 2013.
The golf club will remain open to guests and members and bar snacks will be on sale from next Monday.
