
Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says after years of “steady as she goes”, today’s budget announcements will represent something quite different.
This morning in Tynwald, he’ll outline the government’s financial plans for the next year – and is expected to reveal the budget’s been balanced after years of cutbacks following the UK’s VAT bombshell.
Mr Teare’s staying tight-lipped about exactly what he’ll be unveiling later.
