Third accident on roads in 24 hours
Glencrutchery Road is now clear following an earlier accident
It happened around 11.15 and whilst the road remained opened, police had been advising motorists to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.
Earlier this morning one person was taken to hospital following what officers called a serious accident on the Braaid Road, close to St Marks.
It only involved the one vehicle, but the road was closed for around 3 hours while police and emergency services dealt with the incident.
It's understood the driver has been detained in Nobles hospital for treatment, though the extent of injuries isn't known.
There have been three incidents on Island roads in the last 24 hours after the main Douglas to Peel road was closed for around an hour last night following an accident by the Hawthorn pub and restaurant.
