Event starts 8am Saturday
Richard Gerrard is bidding to become Parish Walk champion for a sixth time in eight years this weekend.
He's one of more than 1,600 who have signed up for this year's event.
The 85-mile race gets underway at 8am at the NSC tomorrow.
Race Director Raymond Cox told Manx Radio Sport that Richard's beginnings in the sport make his story all the more remarkable:
