General Magic's Manx connection

Two film screenings this month

A new film with a Manx connection gets a screening at the Broadway Cinema later this month.

General Magic tells the story of a Silicon Valley company which looked to develop a forerunner of the smartphones many of us carry around today.

There will be two screenings on Saturday, 19 January.

Sarah Kerruish, co-producer and co-director of the film, grew up in Ballasalla and went to school in Castletown.

She also has first-hand experience of General Magic, as she told Manx Radio.
