Median earnings closer says Minister
The Minister for Policy and Reform says the gender pay gap on the Isle of Man is narrowing - for median earnings, at least.
Airline operator Ryanair announced earlier this week there was a 72 per cent gender pay gap among its UK-based staff, claiming this was because just eight of its 554 pilots are women.
On the Island, the numbers suggest there isn't such a disparity - but Chris Thomas says the average earnings statistics aren't as promising.
