Steam Packet MD discusses problem found during sea trials
The Island will have to wait longer to see its new Stream Packet ferry, the Manxman.
During sea trials a significant fault has developed in the gearbox.

The Steam Packet says there will be no impact on existing or future bookings with all sailings carried out by the existing vessels in the fleet.
It's unclear how long the delay will be to the Manxman's arrival.
