Race continued while competitor was treated
A TT rider is in a critical condition in Noble’s Hospital this evening (Sunday) after an incident at Greeba during this afternoon’s Superbike Race.
Davey Lambert sustained multiple injuries after coming off his machine at Greeba Castle.
It happened during lap three of the six lap race.
It’s understood the race continued while the Gateshead based competitor was treated at the side of the road.
Marshals waved yellow flags for the remainder of the race, urging riders to slow down in the area.
