Further protest attracts around 50 people
The MHK chairing the committee which is assessing the Manx Gas banded standing charges system says it can't be changed overnight.
David Ashford spoke to protestors during a demonstration in Regent Street in Douglas on Saturday.
Those present wanted to see immediate changes to the system which they believe leads to unrealistic and unfair gas prices for consumers.
Mr Ashford says whilst he understands their views, government's hands are tied with regard to the time scale for changing the charging structure.
