Regulator says it doesn't comment on specific cases
After another Isle of Man company surrendered its online gaming licence to the Gaming Supervision Commission last week the GSC has told Manx Radio it doesn't comment on specific cases or individuals.
Douglas based Annexio Limited has signalled its intention to wind down the platform it operates under the Island's licencing regime due to what it called 'changing market realities.'
The regulatory body says licence holders surrender for a variety of reasons including commercial or operational considerations, or due to regulatory interventions by the GSC.
The body's role as a regulator is to ensure the safety and longevity of the sector, as such, a balance must always be struck to maintain an open and well-regulated jurisdiction.
