Fynoderee heads to Manchester for national spirit awards

Glashtyn Spiced Manx Rum is one of six finalists

A local distillery will find out tonight (27 Feb) if it's scooped an award in a national competition.

Fynoderee's Manx Glashtyn has been selected as a finalist in the “Easy Weekday & Spiced Rum” category of the People’s Choice Spirits Awards.

The company said it's 'particularly pleased to be recognised by these consumer-friendly awards that are open to submissions from all around the world at any price point'.

They'll be fighting it out with rum brands Pusser’s, Takamaka, Titan and Dropworks.

Founders Tiffany and Paul Kerruish have headed to Manchester for the awards which are being held this evening at Revolution on Deansgate Locks from 6pm.
