Tynwald urged to consider societal value of post office
Politicians need to decide what they want from the post office before the board can deliver and plan for the future.
That's the view of the chairman of the Economic Policy Review Committee Chris Robertshaw in presenting a report to Tynwald, which made no recommendations.
Mr Robertshaw argued Tynwald needs to decide the strategic and social value of the post office rather than just looking at balance sheets:
Government 'neglecting' heritage assets across the Island
Motiv8: 'We will never reach all the children on the Isle of Man'
House of Keys question paper dominated by one MHK
Onchan Commissioners to undertake 'accessibility' review of park equipment
