Major blaze at Dalby caused by one
A big blaze on the coast at Dalby has prompted yet another warning from the fire service about the use of disposable barbecues.
The fire quickly spread across headland there on Saturday evening, eventually covering an area measuring about half a mile by a quarter of a mile.
It took forty fire officers around seven hours to tackle it, and they were still damping it down yesterday.
Carl Kinvig is the fire service's head of fire safety.
