Chief minister asks Treasury to look into issue
The chief minister has asked the Treasury to consider further support for families who receive free school meals when schools close for Christmas.
Alf Cannan told the House of Keys the issue is being looked at by Treasury Minister David Ashford.
The Isle of Man Foodbank usually sees an increase in demand for help during school holidays.
Mr Cannan admits there are additional challenges impacting those on low incomes this winter:
