Hopes course will dry out following overnight rain
There's been a further 30 minute delay to racing in the Festival of Motorcyling today (Wed)
It follows heavy rain overnight . . . . leading to damp patches remaining around the course, particularly at Laurel Bank and Ramsey Hairpin.
The weather is set fair for the rest of the day, with only a small chance of an isolated shower.
It means roads around the course will now close at 11am with the first race, the four lap Mylchreests Group Junior Manx Grand Prix getting underway at 11.45.
This will be followed at 2.30pm by the MGP Supporters Club Supertwin/Lightweight Race also over four laps, then at 4.25 to 4.50pm a one lap qualifying session for the MGP Senior event.
Roads are currently scheduled to open again at 5pm
