Service in Promenade Suite at Villa
The funeral service of Dr Brian Stowell will take place next Monday (28/01)
Dr Stowell died last Friday at the age of 82.
He was a leading Manx scholar and instrumental in the revivial of the language and broadcast on Manx Radio for almost 20 years, co-presenting Sunday morning's Moghrey Jedoonee programme.
He was given the Tynwald Honour in 2010.
Dr Stowell's funeral will be at midday in the Promenade Suite at the Villa Marina on 28th January and followed by a private family burial.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) Association.
