32 teams taking part in event which raises thousands for Cancer Research UK
The annual Cancer Research UK Relay For Life event returns to the National Sports Centre in Douglas today (Saturday 29 August).
Thirty-two teams will take to the track from midday, with fundraisers taking turns on a continuous 24 hour walk to symbolize that cancer never sleeps.
Each year survivors of cancer start proceedings with a lap of honour.
The event in 2025 raised around £90,000 and has previously raised over £120,000.
