Full return for schoolchildren 'imminent'

DESC chief exec believes all years will be back in school within three weeks

A decision will be made tomorrow about how quickly schools can be fully reopened to all pupils.

Following the chief minister's announcement on Thursday that social distancing would no longer be law on the Isle of Man from tomorrow, education bosses were then quizzed by a Tynwald scrutiny committee the day after.

The department's CEO, Professor Ronald Barr, and Minister Dr Alex Allinson said a full return is imminent:
