The political consequences of government support for overseas aid projects will be debated at a public event organised by the Isle of Man Freethinkers this lunchtime (13 Jan).
The group has invited Phil Craine from the Island's Christian Aid group to give his view on whether aid should be used as a political tool to encourage change.
Freethinkers' chairman Andrew Dixon will go head to head with him in the debate at Douglas Yacht Club, which is open to all and starts at 2.30pm.
