Auction to be held during Festival of Motorcycling
There's a free valuation day today, for classic, vintage and racing motorbikes at the Isle of Man Motor Museum in Jurby.
Charterhouse Auctioneers are hosting the event, to consign items for the inaugural Classic TT Auction at this year's Festival of Motorcycling on Sunday, 30 August.
As well as machinery; trophies, signage, brochures and other 'automobilia' are also welcome.
This is the second valuation day ahead of the August auction.
Staff say the first, held in November, attracted more than £200,000-worth of motorbikes, and a range of memorabilia including two Isle of Man TT trophies from the 1920s, valued at between £300-£500.
It's thought items with a collective reserve price of more than £500,000 have already been consigned.
