Reciprocal agreement signed by both governments
A health agreement has been signed between the Isle of Man and Guernsey.
The reciprocal contract between the two governments aims to help anyone needing emergency medical treatment.
It's as the two jurisdictions continue to share a unique 'air corridor', under the coronavirus pandemic.
Currently, any healthcare needed by a Manx visitor to the channel island would come at a cost.
However this is to change to mutual free medical care whilst the air bridge is operational.
It covers emergency hospital treatment and any follow-on essential treatment.
