It will follow his life from his younger days to the Opera House
Manx National Heritage is gearing up for the world premiere of a musical in honour of architect Frank Matcham.
It's set to take place in October and will follow his life from his younger days working on a number of theatres and opera houses to the Isle of Man's very own 'jewel in the crown', the Gaiety Theatre.
Assistant Director of The Theatre Architect, Caroline Mulligan, says the excitement is building as the leads for the musical have been selected.
She adds that the story is factual and based on Frank's life:
It will take place over the weekend of 22-23 October.
