Road closes again this morning
The main road in Foxdale is closing again this morning (Mon), for the final phase of a major roadworks project.
It's been open for the past fortnight to accommodate TT traffic.
Work began on the scheme - aimed at improving visibility for drivers - last October, with a view to it being completed before June.
But the Department of Infrastructure says progress is now on target to be finished by Wednesday, 2 August - if conditions are 'favourable'.
It says extra staff and resources are being deployed to meet the deadline.
Access to vehicles will be shut off at 10am.
