Threat of £120 fine and three licence points
Errant drivers making up time due to roadworks in Foxdale are being warned residents and police are watching them.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team has launched an appeal for witnesses to road users flouting the law after complaints were posted on Facebook.
Locals are posting pictures and videos to report incidents that are a result of works to Foxdale main road and the Mines Road junction on its community page.
Anyone who's caught will be fined £120 and have their licence endorsed with three penalty points.
Officers say it's 'wholly unacceptable' and 'extremely dangerous' - and can't continue until TT 2017, when the works are set to complete.
