DEFA expert thinks Island harbours small population
There's growing suspicion that, contrary to previous belief, the Island is home to a small number of foxes.
The 'official line' from government and organisations is that the species doesn't exist here.
But sightings are still reported by the public - most recently in Castletown just days ago.
Dr. Richard Selman from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture believes wild foxes may have lived here for some time:
