Retired actuary to contest election
A 14th candidate has emerged to contest next month’s Legislative Council election.
Retired actuary and former head of management review at the Zurich Insurance Group, Richard Furner, has been nominated by the Peel and Glenfaba MHK Ray Harmer.
The contest will be held on March the 12th.
Five vacancies will soon be available in the upper house and nominations close on Friday (February the 23rd).
