
Two suffer 'significant damage'
Four properties around the Island were struck by lightning during a thunderstorm in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews responded to a number of incidents between 4am and 5am.
Two properties in Port Soderick and Foxdale Road were hit alongside two others in Hillside Avenue and Pinehurst Glen which suffered 'significant structural damage' when lightning struck the roof.

Ali spoke to Manx Radio:
The Fire and Rescue service says there were nine incidents in the hour in which their attendance was required.
