Planning application submitted to turn Caley's General Stores into residential premises
A popular former shop on the TT course could be converted into a house.
Caley's General Stores in Sulby has been closed since 2020, and a planning application has been submitted to extend the building and turn it into a residential premises.
The shop's former owner Raymond Caley died in 2017, and has a corner of the TT course named after him.
The applicant says Mr Caley was a stalwart of the local community, and that they've been in talks with Lezayre Commissioners to ensure a physical memory of this is constructed at the site.
