Cretney calls for urgent action on committee findings
A former politician is calling on government to quickly action the recommendations of a Tynwald report on suicide.
David Cretney chaired the committee which investigated the matter and says the news of 22 inquest suicide verdicts being recorded last year is concerning.
He also feels there could be further issues caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and therefore a working strategy is urgently needed:
