Diary entries of a former Nottingham mayor about his time on the Isle of Man have been turned into a book.
Author Abigail Cobley says the book on William Parsons brings together his Isle of Man visits with contemporary illustrations, revealing a beautiful and changing island.
William was mayor between 1863 and 1864.
