Ramsey MHK believes Tim Crookall is being 'set up to fail' in his new position
A former minister believes the recently-appointed minister without portfolio is being set up to fail.
Tim Crookall took on the role following a Council of Ministers reshuffle in November.
Alfred Cannan said the position was created to assist him in his role as chief minister, while Mr Crookall confirmed he'll be helping identify ways for government to save money.
But Lawrie Hooper, who resigned as health minister in October, says he's surprised by the appointment:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
