A former Isle of Man TT racer has been killed in a road traffic incident.
Seventy-eight year old Paul Smart died yesterday when the motorbike he was riding was in a collision with another vehicle between East Sussex and his home in Kent.
He was the brother-in-law of former World Champion Barry Sheene and his son Scott competed at 500cc Grand Prix level.
Mr Smart competed at the TT between 1967 and 1974 finishing on the podium three times.
