Eight candidates now in running
A former government building control officer has become the eighth candidate to apply for a seat on the Legislative Council.
Marlene Hendy has applied for one of five positions due to become vacant in a month's time.
She has been put forward by Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson.
The election is being held on Monday, 12 March.
