Football club seeking planning approval to expand facilities

Roof terrace and extended changing rooms for DHSOB?

A football club in Onchan could be extended to provide more facilities for players and for TT visitors.

Douglas High School Old Boys AFC is seeking planning permission to build a single storey flat roof extension to the current clubhouse.

If approved the proposal, at the Blackberry Lane site, would mean larger changing rooms, increased washing facilities and an improved clubroom.

An extra storeroom and officials’ room would also be added as well as a roof terrace.
