Annual ceremony praises efforts of producers
The diversification of the Island's food producers has been celebrated at an annual awards ceremony.
The Isle of Man Food, Farming and Fishing Awards were presented at the Royal Manx Show on Friday (10 Aug).
There was praise for arable farmer Stuart Allanson in the farming category; Will Faulds and Charlotte Traynor, of the Apple Orphanage, for food and drink; and Chris Clugston, of Kallow Point Seafoods, for fishing.
Mike Walker and Clare Lewis, of Isle of Man Goats and Manx Mohair, were joint winners in the diversification class, alongside Will and Janette Qualtrough, of the Ballakarran Meat Company.
