Islanders innvited to give food to those less well off
A project to provide food or toiletries for those stretched to the limit has started today.
Food Bank Isle of Man is running a 'reverse advent calendar' drive until December 20.
The initiative invites Islanders to donate 25 gifts in the run-up to Christmas.
Organisers suggest filling a box with one item of food or toiletries each day before dropping it off to the charity.
Food Bank director Neal Mellon explained where the boxes go after that:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
