Flying the flag against Homophobia

The chief executive of a new group representing the Island's gay community says he would love to see their flag being flown over government offices on the International Day against Homophobia.

Idaho day, as it's known, takes place each May and in recent years the Island's police force has been flying the Rainbow flag from all their stations throughout the day.

Last week Lee Clarke from the Manx Rainbow Foundation gave Chief Minister Allan Bell a flag, which he hopes government will be happy to fly in years to come to show their support for the Island's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
