MHK says route not financially viable for airline
'A lack of use' is one of the reasons leading to the cancellation of flights to Heathrow from Ronaldsway, according to a departmental member of the Department of Infrastructure.
The route was introduced by Flybe earlier this year at the start of the airline's summer programme with hopes the service could continue if demand was strong enough.
However, Flybe has announced the final flight to Heathrow will go on 26 October.
