Coastguard and lifeboat called out in early hours of morning
Coastguard and lifeboat crews were called out in the north of the Island in the early hours of this morning after a fishing boat ran aground.
At around 3.20am, officers were asked to locate and observe the vessel, after it got into difficulties in the bay at Port Lewaigue.
The coastguard assessed the stability of the vessel at low tide before standing down just before 6am, while Ramsey lifeboat remained at the scene providing assistance.
