
A Manx fishing organisation says it’s unhappy with a ban on scallop dredging at a fishing ground in the south of the Island.
Baie ny Carrickey off the coast of Port St Mary will close on November 1, with the government and local management group saying the move will allow stocks to recover.
But Tom Bryan-Brown of the Manx Fish Producers’ Association says he doesn’t feel there was consultation over the moves.
