Emily Heaton and two others pass assessments
An RNLI volunteer has become Douglas Lifeboat Station's first female coxswain.
Emily Heaton, and two other colleagues, undertook their assessments earlier this month, which involved an almost three-hour trial out at sea, testing their responses to emergency situations.
All three were successful.
'This is not an easy task. I, for once, am proud of myself.'
