Police officers will be visible in the Island's towns and villages and on the roads tonight, as new year's eve celebrations get into full swing (31 Dec).
The advice to party-goers is plan your night to stay safe and arrange transport home in advance.
Policing plans for major public events and holidays from the TT to the Christmas period are drawn-up 12 months in advance.
